Pool House Addition – General Contractor

Division One Construction was the General Contractor on this addition of a 2,500-square-foot pool house in the Historical Polo Grounds.

Never afraid to try something new and unique, this project allowed Division One Construction to flex its muscles (and brains) by taking on a something we had never done. Heavy timber construction is not for your everyday contractor. The complexities of assembling such a structure requires careful planning and foresight in order to succeed, particularly when you are putting a swimming pool beneath it.

This project required the assembly of high-tech systems to maintain an optimal indoor pool environment and micro-climate without compromising the integrity of very large, natural assemblies, not to mention the existing house. By taking the time to think through and understand all of the components of such a build, we were able to successfully meet our clients’ desires to build such a diverse space for their needs.
