Pop Top Addition, Boulder, CO

This pop top addition residential construction project nearly doubled the size of an existing one-story California Contemporary perched on a hillside west of Boulder, Colorado (near Denver). The addition included a kitchen remodeling, a second-floor master suite, and an indoor bridge leading to a private guest suite. The design emphasized clean, simple elements, with corner windows, steel handrails, flat roofs, and a two-story vaulted light well.
